A beautiful morning with great views across Akoroa harbour. First things first, we needed to pack, then it was off around the peninsula to Lyttleton where we had lunch. I had not appreciated that the town had been hit hard by the earthquakes and lost much of its historic buildings. So lots of construction. ... All he seemed to tell us was that he used to be in the army. He dropped this in about 5 times and it just started to become awkward.
