Clear blue skies and a clear site of the Southern Alps on the horizon. Now that's what I'm talking about! After brekkie and a Skype with Gary (still can't get used to getting up when he's off to bed!) I headed out into the sun. My first stop was the botanic gardens. Banks Peninsula - Finally Some Dolphins

... you would be following one in front of you, only to have one surface directly behind you and give you a fright! After we left the dolphins followed under the bow of the boat for a while, letting us take some close up pictures as well, you couldn't really ask for more!

With that experience behind us, we left for our final New Zealand stop, Christchurch.
