The B & B was beautiful, our hosts Dominique and Florence just lovely. We had breakfast in the dining room, couldn't converse with a French couple, but could with an Italian couple.The farmhouse and old animal shelters had been restored 7 years ago by the couple, beautifully decorated in French Provincial style.

the monument itself doesn´t disappoint....it´s a medieval church cum castle built in the sea, and pretty impressive both during the day, and all lit up at night. But, my word, busy. ... le parking payant (12euros). Si ça ne vous dérange pas de marcher un peu, environ 30min, vous pouvez vous garez un peu plus à l'est et marcher. Il y a un chemin avec vue imprenable sur le Mont.
Bon par contre, ça ne vaut pas le coup d'économiser 9euros pour ne pas voir l'abbaye. Si vous ratez ça vous ratez les trois quart du Mont. L'intérieut est trés intéressant et on peut voir comment l'abbaye a été construite par étapes.
