... instead it was a separate apartment for just Leah and I. It had a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and a patio outside. Guess what? They even had tea (lemon and ginger, green, peppermint and English breakfast)!
I took the tea pot out and made Leah and I some tea! It was so nice just relaxing on our own schedule. We were not told to go to bed (but we did not go to bed late). We were not told to shower (but we did).

We must be mad; another early start to catch a parade by representatives of all the armed services down George Street to the ANZAC memorial, to celebrate the termination of the Iraq and Afghanistan combat operations and remember those injured or lost. ... to the contemporary art museum before heading home, the longest way possible through the botanical gardens and Hyde park. Quick shower and a hello home I wandered out after sunset to a little open burger and hot dog shop. Really nice to just sit by an open window and have dinner observing whilst everything else flew by. What a day! We woke up bright and early to the sound of birds and grabbed some coffee. We decided today was going to be a beach day! It was great to see David and Jo again and plans for the weekend immediately took shape when we learnt that Jo's brother Michael had taken ownership of a coffee shop in the Blue Mountains.
