... 8220;I've been here!”, but enough for me to remember that I’d spent the day seeing the rural side of Jamaica and Yes!, I've been to Bob Marley’s home!

With my purchase tucked into a small black plastic bag I have buyers remorse before even stepping foot on the bus. Really, I don’t NEED another t-shirt. And yet, here’s my purchase, just waiting to have the tag removed and worn with pride.

Wow, I'm truly flattered by Maggie's post.

We had a short day with no rush to make mileage so we idled along at 5.5 its and enjoyed the uniqueness behind Myrtle Beach. Some of this is interesting but is generally pretty boring. Our start this rnorning found us aground in the mouth of Jeremy Creek after leaving Leland Oil dock in McClellansville, SC. While this wasn't on our plan it did provide the opportunity to eat a nice breakfast, coming unstuck from the oatmeal-like bottom just as we finished the last of our coffee. From then on the day unfolded as planned, catching the tides just right and hitting all waypoints on schedule. The incoming tide carried us up Winyah Bay and we actually sailed ...

... it is pretty much a ghost town. Everything is empty. The mini putt, water slides, amusement parks, and boardwalks are all silent and shut down. Even half the hotels are closed. We decided to take advantage of the off season and do what we haven’t done on this entire trip. We got a hotel room for the night. We went to one of the hotels and told them we were on our honeymoon (technically true). They gave us the discount room price and upgraded us to the honeymoon suite along with ...

We enjoyed electric heat last night at Myrtle Beach Yacht Club but the morning was cold and we slept in, leaving just in time to catch the 1000 opening of the Little River swing bridge, passing through with four other boats. To the Captain's thinking, the next 27 miles of Myrtle Beach overdevelopment is the least attractive stretch of the entire east coast ICW. The next few hours was spent moving along this segment at approximately 6 knots until we hit ...
