So...only 6 days to go... Goodbyes have been said to my closest friends and some family members, all hostel and flight confirmations have been printed (only after did I realise that I could just open them in my emails on my iPod), vegetarian meal has been booked for the flight- We are ready for take off! Well, kind of. Still have to pack.
So this is my first blogging attempt. Its just over a week before we leave for Asia. There is still so much to do. I gotta pack up my Asia bag and I also gotta pack my New Zealand living bags so they can be sent to NZ once we get there. Its all rather daunting. I ordered Thai Baht in the bank today. I should have it by Monday. I did some college essay editing for Shauna so as payment she is going to give me US Dollars to ...
... and that which we find disgusting or difficult to deal with. We have to go through it just like that wise children's song, "Goin' On a Squeegee Hunt".
Anyway, it was well worth the trouble for this nearly 3000 year-old testament to humanity's relationship to Spirit.

... of luggage space but eventually were on our way toward Galway. Our driver, Mark, told us straight away that we were going to do crack but explained quickly that is "craic" and means a really good time.
We noted the changing face of the land as we traveled the 100 miles. The closer we came to the west coast the rockier the land became.
... were offered a good deal on a jaunting cart (horse and cart) so we took a 1 hour ride through the national park, past an abbey, muckross house and to torc waterfall. it was so nice that we decided to come back the next day. we then walked back into town, had dinner at a pub and listened to some live irish music (surounded by hens parties and bucks nights!) our hostel was really cute, little bit small but still very nice!
