So we managed to get a car hire sorted! A huge 7 seater automatic beast! We drove through Kuah then headed North-East for the stunning Tajung Rhu beach which requires a signature to enter! ... Sand Beach' - a place where you would expect the sand to be black but, well, it wasn't. This is seemingly a trend in Langkawi: things are called something without having any link, such as the Crocodile Cave with no crocodiles and Mouse Island that just had no resemblance to a mouse whatsoever. ... that this is only cleaned once every three weeks or so and it is such a shame. Cenang isn't as bad as they must clean it more regularly due to the higher volume of tourists who visit. As Malaysia grows in popularity, I suspect that beach cleaning will become a much higher priority.
