... read that for every fish that jumps, there are between 10 and 25 ‘below’. With that in mind there must have been hundreds, perhaps even thousands of sailfish in this small bay (about 1 mile wide by maybe 3 long). The fish showing themselves added another layer of excitement to the whole affair, and even Ginette wanted to keep giving it a try. ... pleasantly impressed for the £7.50 a night private room with ensuite which included a buffet breakfast! The next morning we woke early determined to fit as much as we could in to our day on the island. Luckily the breakfast did not disappoint with a large spread and freshly cooked eggs how you chose! This was a good thing as once again Lucy learnt the hard way about travelling with someone who wants a fitness challenge...biking through mountains ...

... at the bat cave where we had to somehow climb just under a meter (literally) onto the first step to enter the cave because it was low tide. The cave was amazing, with tiny little bats (<10cm) were huddled together in groups of hundreds. They were amazingly calm and unfazed by us or our torch. We even spotted an extremely thin snake on the roof next to the bats at one stage. It was evident that the walkways in the caves had been built for petite Asian bodies as we were too tall ...

A very enjoyable day! We return for shower and change and then visit the boat Restaurant once again. Tonight Marjory chose seafood soup and squid with stir fried vegetables which was lovely and David enjoyed noodle soup and chicken and vegetable stir fry..........And some local beer!
