... set for a few hours here, the sea was freezing today so we only went for a splash up to our knees. We had lunch later today as we had been later for breakfast. ... a lot of time sailing Langkawi. She was a little annoying after a bit not sure whether it was too much wine or that's how she was normally. ... food. We stumbled across a busy Malaysian restaurant and without discussion headed in. Having a guess at the menu, I ordered a chicken, veg, rice, stir fry dish. Chris asked the waiter for his recommendation and ended up with a very tasty and spicy beef stir fry. ... all around us. In the last few hours of daylight the sea erupted with baitfish being chased by leaping tuna running them up on the reef, and we even saw a sailfish jumping repeatedly just offshore. A perfect end to the day.

In the morning we hiked a couple trails on shore out to a powdery ‘icing sugar’ sand beach with a catamaran beached on the shore. The dense jungle was somewhat eery and we saw many critters scurrying across the trail but luckily no snakes! ...
