... Camping on the farm and decided it was as good a place as any for the night. A little expensive for our taste but its about location, location, location. Its a beautiful evening and Jayne has cooked a superb Moroccan chicken dish. To go with it, well back to the mint from earlier and Mojitos all round. Just sat out doors enjoying the last of the days sunshine before heading north again tomorrow. ...

... in June and 'Mick from East Anglia' in September. And what an inspiration these guys were...both in their seventies but still up for the challenge :-) Highlights for me included: revisiting St Govans chapel, not to mention cream tea at Stackpole Quay, snorkelling with Jo in St Brides Haven, RIB ride at Sandy Haven, seeing Mill Bay where Henry Tudor landed (I have just been reading a book about this), stumbling across the unexpected modern sculptures called The ...

Probably a good thing as I am back ...

... be challenging! See you at 1pm, says Ian. More like two...or even three, I reply! Mick and I set off along the estuary footpath which is pretty flat here, as you might expect. The sandy path takes us up to an area known as The Bennet. Here we cross a golf course. Look out for flying balls, states the guidebook. But there is no-one around - maybe too early for a Saturday morning? Crossing a car park, we start our first climb of the day. It's a long slog up the steep cliff side and ...

... at Pwll Landdu and it's subsequent climb up to the cliff tops whilst Ian heads back to Fishguard - he is off to visit the spitfire museum at Haverfordwest Airport. We have planned to meet later for the walk around Dinas Head. On the oath I catch up with Mick. Hard luck Mick...looks you're stuck with me again today! More dipping and diving along the cliffs today though it's not as bad as the guidebook suggests. It's turning out to be another beautiful day as we drop down ...
