After getting lost (again!) and went in a complete square, we finally got on the road towards the beautiful Catlins passing by a petrified forest at Curio Bay and sitting by the beach hoping to see Hector Dolphins at Porpoise Bay - both beautiful places, though the petrified forest was pretty cool to look at. We did get slightly lost again as we took, I think, a shortcut to the hostel, but we were faced by cows on this small gravily track... not only were there loads of them (at least 50), t...

... they promise that there is about a year's worth of great bouldering routes.
Wow! Nathan and his friends not only brought us to an amazing bouldering area that we would never have gone to on our own, but they practically gave us a guided tour, going from area to area with us and pointing out the best routes and ways to go about them, all on delicious sandstone that really sticks to your fingers. Orangeville, Utah, United States h2andblues... note for "DOMENY". It said our room number and "Please us eonly one bed since you booked for one queen." The room had two doubles. Weird.

The trip TO Utah was cool, though. We drove through the Mojave desert. We drove down the Vegas Strip and decided we don't need to return. We crossed the borders of 4 states.

It begins.
Manti, Utah, United States mikeandkelsey... of them all. However, I completely had forgotten about the many optimistic opportunities when given the chance to ride in a tour bus: there is no need to DRIVE for 2,000 + miles, there is no need to find an inn or a hotel everyday, there is no need to find breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there is no need to get lost when getting to the destinations - all of that is taken care of by the tour guide. Thank God. :)

So here I am, writing away my first day in ...
Utah, United States bobamaniac715... journeyed onto Park City, checked in, and hit the shops in the Outlet Mall, buying up most of the Skechers store for the kids, and making sure we had plenty of Harry & David Malt Balls for Lyn. We then got some Pizza, and collapsed; Lyn had found the driving really tough. Bed looked good!

I'm so glad to be back in Utah though; something keeps calling me back....maybe it's Great Great Great Aunt Martha!
Park City, Utah, United States cusan... need to go down for the next 8 miles, my hands and feet were going numb but the construction required that we get off the bikes and walk them around some of the more intense areas. The rain is still coming down and the temperature is in the 40's, a far cry from Florida we are also still above 6,000 feet. Well tomorrow is another climbing day I just hope that it is dry!
Price, Utah, United States bot989So i went and rode ATV's in the sand dunes of Utah, a place called little sahara, about an hour and a half from salt lake or so, professionals go here, and this was my first time going to go ride in sand... it was crazy!! had a blast though, and i did well for my first time, at least i think so... I edited and made a cool movie out of the video's i took, so enjoy the videos and photos!
Little Sahara, Utah, United States jcjavo... far as we know, anyway. If I did choose, I have no idea why I would choose Price, which leads me to believe I had no say in the matter. Then of course you have to go through school and you live where your parents live. My only other options would be running away or dropping out of high school, which I'd assume would have a negative impact on my future.

There's a quote I've read by Joseph Epstein that has always stuck in my mind ...
Price, Utah, United States alifebeinglived... at me like I had ten heads, and then moved into my pjs my grandma gave me for christmas...just when i thought i was going to watch a movie with uncle tod, 8 additional hours of work came about. everything after that became fuzzy and exhausting and my favorite creative team member decided to make fun of my pjs over ichat and now the crankiness came on strong. i found myself wanting to scream and cry like the 3 year old due to exhaustion.
Park City, Utah, United States tjkeim... into the western horizon, we raced to get a picture of the famous Delicate Arch under the light of the setting sun. We made it just in time to set up the tripod, compose the picture, set the timer, and smile for the camera. I don't like hiking after dark because there were mountain lions in the area and I would end up freaking myself out by seeing mountain lions everywhere in the shadows. Friday - Our day started off with a visit to the Hole N' The Rock. A miner and his wife ...
