... when I actually arrive at my destination. You know, usually I try to just "enjoy the journey", which is not hard to do, but today however, it really really was. ... Je pensais qu'en visitant les sites classés à l'Unesco je resterais plus ou moins sur les sentier battus. Et bien c'est plutôt carrément moins! Je n'est pu arriver jusqu'à Chikan que grâce à la gentillesse de Echo (la fille rencontrée à Xiamen) qui m'a aidé à réserver un hôtel et m'a écrit les directions sur un papier en chinois. ... silver necklace for her to remember him. I asked if they had it, but sadly, it was lost. There was also a note from her birthmother that was also two sides, and we only had one of the sides. So, we now have a copy of both complete letters. We also learned that Lili's original name Xie, Gui Fang is not a common surname in Jiangmen, so the people there thought that maybe she was not from Jiangmen.
