    Went into a little shop to get a small bottle of water [.6], waking up the sleeping clerk. Not much else is open this Sunday morning.

    At Pakobcki and Mockobcka, there was a little park. Street sweepers are about the only action so far.

    This morning we woke in the mountains to a beautiful view and much cooler temperatures. We drove a short distance to the monastery and had a peaceful walk around. It was beautiful.     ... later and I finally received my new passport. During this time I also received my bank card. Progress..with me, not the government. The only thing I had left to do was to go to the Bulgarian Embassy in Skopje, Macedonia and get my visa.
    If only it was that simply. I had to go to the police station in Dimitrovgrad and then the Immigration Office in Sofia to get the documents I needed to get the visa. Chaos. Efficiency is ...
