... Kukeri occurs in numerous villages all over Bulgaria, but the most celebrated is in Pernik. We saw crazy outfits and even men dressed up as women. Not only is the festival meant to scare away evil spirits, but it's supposed to be welcoming a plentiful harvest, health, and happiness to the village. You know sometimes when you visit places and you see random things over and over again. Yeah, in Sofia is kept seeing graffiti and stickers that said Hello, My Name is Goat. No one can really tell us why, though.
