    ... the lack of a choir taking away the drama of the place. Some believers were still in the church so I let them be.

    Poverty here means at times a different take on trash collectors. On a couple of occasions, I saw people scrounging throught garbage bins looking for items of possible value.

    This morning we woke in the mountains to a beautiful view and much cooler temperatures. We drove a short distance to the monastery and had a peaceful walk around. It was beautiful.     ... so we headed out to grab some food at a local restaurant instead. We’d arranged tickets into Nis in Serbia for tomorrow morning, and so we had a look around town seeing some of the sights.
