... So everyone ate on their laps. The strangest thing happened at the end of the day. The pupils were told to get their bags and line up, which they did and then they walked out. There was no good-bye!! I asked one of the boys what was happening when he was standing in the line and he said that school is over now (at 3:30 pm) and that most of them walk home, as they live near by, but no one said the word goodbye.
