Today, there's only one occupied property that has been recently constructed, right next to the damaged buildings.Years later (20?) we could still smell the charred remains as the rain had dampened the ruins. We wondered what brought this one family back after such trauma and where were the others? ...

And then we walked around all the very narrow streets of the town.
We also saw a car scrape its mirrors on the side of the car on the narrow street wall.

We went to a restaurant that had a band too.
There was a group up at the speaker playing their ipod music.
It looked like they were having a good time dancing and singing.
We were walking home and we pasted the festival area and saw a local, traditional dancing in the middle of a tent.
They had dressed in local clothes.
... people out and about, then most places we have been.
Driving around Krk Island was interesting.
We visited the town of Krk, which was lovely with little lanes and a nice port area.
Another small town we visited was Vrbnik.
A cool little town on top of a cliff with narrow streets and great views over the coast.
In fact it has the smallest street in the world here at only 43cm ...
