Once again we drove through Hendon, another town in the family history on our way to East Knoyle from where William Ford & his family were sent back to Chicklade because of the "Poor Law"
Then finally back here to Mere, so we did quite a bit of Family History Tripping but did not find out any extra information, it was just good to be in places where I had family 200 plus years ...

the big 5 in the plains of the Serengeti, then on to Kenya, Uganda where we cross the Equator and into Rwanda for a once in a lifetime experience trekking the silver back gorilla (think
David Attenborough), from there back tracking through Uganda and Kenya until we
head north into Ethiopia, onto Sudan and finally crossing lake Nasser into our last country ...

A travel blog entry by luharris on May 17, 2015

... glad we did it the play area is massive and has loads of toys and soft play for Alfred. It's also all English speaking. The lady said there was room on the toddler sense class for Alfred on the Thursday so we are going to head down to sign up. I'm so excited as this is exactly what I was looking for. There is a drop in session on the Monday too so we are going to be doing that in the ear future. If I can get Alfred settled with these things then I can focus ...
