Our first impressions are lots of multi storied 60's/70's styled apartments, our hotel is clean and tidy but interestingly the hotel was closed as the owner is away but gave us remote access and he was able to watch us enter etc via web cam set up - god only knows if there's a web cam set up ...

Most houses are 2 -3 stories high all with a cellar as well. After our walk Birthe took us to Paderborn and we walked the cobbled streets admiring the buildings , facades, and many churches . All very European. We also went into ...

... amp; speaks very good English so communication is not a problem (unlike our last site in Germany!); fees were €20 a night with ACSI card, facilities were spotless although a little walk away from our pitch but you need to take your rubbish with you when you are going out as the bins are a long walk from anywhere. Security is by a barrier with key provided, and we had a very comfortable night ...
