What a difference a pub makes 2. Again really good food and some fine cider has come to the rescue. What pub shuts at 3 to open again at 6? Again the answer is the Mt Inn at Stanton. Magnificent view over the village and into the setting sun and equally good food. Scotch duck egg and foie gras with caramelised onion for entrees and gammon and Gloucestershire spotted sausage (each of those are 2 dishes not 1 ...

This six-hour stopover is a little annoying as it's long, but not long enough to leave the airport and explore a small corner of China. Getting ready to board our next flight! Lots of love, E&T ...
