What a difference a pub makes 2.

A travel blog entry by rlsjhos on Aug 10, 2015

What a difference a pub makes 2. Again really good food and some fine cider has come to the rescue. What pub shuts at 3 to open again at 6? Again the answer is the Mt Inn at Stanton. Magnificent view over the village and into the setting sun and equally good food. Scotch duck egg and foie gras with caramelised onion for entrees and gammon and Gloucestershire spotted sausage (each of those are 2 dishes not 1 ...

The American Dream

... that is American sports. The game was a blow out, Oakland (who generally suck) destroyed the Twins 14-1, hitting 5 home runs and one of those for a grand slam no less. Jen didn’t really follow the game too much, but you don’t need to, it’s the ambience you enjoy the most. After stop by his warehouse we went to pick his grandson up at school and dropped he off at home. That brought a close to my last day in England.

Tip of the Day: The older people who are sat in the corner have the most interesting stories to ...

Our epic journey to NZ begins!

... as it has quite mixed reviews. However, it's been fine for us - and it was cheap (by flights to NZ standards)!! As I said, we're on our stopover in China now and it has been a long one - 6 hours - but luckily the airport is very modern, clean and spacious, so not too much trouble really. This six-hour stopover is a little annoying as it's long, but not long enough to leave the airport and explore a small corner of China. Getting ready to board our next flight! Lots of love, E&T ...
