JFC Ski has started!

... have our ski boots fitted, so tomorrow morning when we are all fresh faced we can get straight onto the slopes to enjoy our first skiing lessons.

Mrs Taylor is looking forward to spending her day in a cafe of drinking copious amounts, non-alcoholic obviously....

The question is, will we all survive, how will Mrs Taylor cope without wine, and sharing a room with Mr Swain will Mr Maggs get a wink of sleep? Don't forget Miss Mullen, she is terrifying before 10 am!

Snow turns me into a 5 year old!!

... of good health, but that doesn't mean we did nothing! We went ice-skating and swimming today, and went into town to do a bit of shopping yesterday.

However, by far the most exciting thing this year so far was that it snowed twice!! And proper snow! I turned into a 5 year old, dancing around in my PJ's and only just resisting the temptation to do a snow angel :P It really was magical! ✳⛄

... too! We explored the town and markets all afternoon, eating waffles and hot chocolate, and we finished off the day with going punting! Punting is great, especially with a hilarious skipper, but it's especially cold in the winter...

Well after many shena****ns that night, we headed back to Peterborough on sunday. Looking forward to a good night's sleep and eating the carrot cake we made :)

Today we visited Aunt Lorna(Bob's Aunt), it was lovely to see her again, then Pat, Bob & I visited Stamford, one of England's finest stone market towns with many listed buildings, churches & archaeological sites, we had lunch there and a lovely stroll through the streets, went to the library where we viewed a tapestry ...
