There was a really good view from the top over the village below and the castle was pretty impressive! The walk was nice too, there was snow everywhere ...

looking at the maps I suddenly realised the total ...

It was incredible inside. I could see why it took so long in order to finish everything- it was all so intricate! There were many swans that were everywhere, as Neuschwanstein means New Swan Stone Castle. These ...

      The glory of Bavaria.

... this in an effort to make extra dollars with extra tours. Last time I visited it was in the school term period and the weather was cold and generally miserable. But, in saying that I had a better general experience and filled in the gaps for Cal from what I could remember about the place. The castles are genuinely brilliant and serve well as a museum considering all the furniture is authentic and the place was left 'as is'. It's truly like being in a fairy tale and would wait in ...
