Today was a traveling day. We left Saas Grund and headed
East via Italy to Locarno. The drive took us through some amazing mountain
passes including Simplonpass, the Gondoschlucht, Val Divedro and Val Vigezzo
which is also known as the Vally of a Thousand Valleys. The scenery ...

Today was going to be relaxing, no excuses. We cycled into
Sion and caught a train up to the tourist center of Zermatt which is famous for
its amazing view of the Matterhorn.

train at Visp and two hours later we were in Zermatt.

We looked around wondering if we could move somewhere else, even another car further back in the train. ...

A visit to Milano to have the motorhome alarm fixed. We stayed at this campsite last September so know it well, a lovely campsite on the waterside. Tia has already had a swim chasing the ducks as we got bitten by Mosquitos... Weather not as good here so we think we will about turn and will head back down towards Genova and continue on our travels down the West Side of Italy... Hopefully starting in Pisa. Lots to see and ...

    Day 10: An Italian pilgrimage

This trip is to celebrate Ben's graduation and Ben is a huge pizza fan. As loyal readers of this journal are aware, the backside of all these mountains around Zermatt is mostly Italy. If this were winter, we could just take the lift up and ski on down. Unfortunately, no snow there, so we decided to take the train instead back up through the Glacier Express canyon to Visp and then ...
