Reto & I left Bad Ragaz early in the morning. Together with our visitors from Chicago we took the train to Zurich. They went to the airport and we moved on via Berne, Spiez, Visp to Zermatt. We enjoyed a nice lunch in Zermatt and headed with great view of the Matterhorn and sunshine towards Riffelberg. Just right for happy hour. We enjoyed a drink on the patio with gorgeous view of the Matterhorn and the other mountains. Around 4pm our ...

  • I watched youtube downstairs in the reception. ...

We drove through some of the most winding hairpin curves I think we have ever driven through. But the mountain scenery was spectacular. And, again, the weather was gorgeous.

We drove to the town of Bellinzona, which ...

    Day 10: An Italian pilgrimage

... picture of what was supposed to be at the top. Because many of the chapels were in poor states of repair, when we saw the tower on the building at the top was inaccessible, we assumed that was it and turned back. So, long story short, pilgrimage FAIL. ;-) Back to the Banhoff...I mean the Estazione (train station).

Perhaps as a point of emphasis, our train back to Zermatt ...
