We were put into a open jeep with all of our bags and taken to our bungalow we were staying at which cost around £5 a night with breakfast included. The first day we went to watch the sunset on the beach which was just a five minute walk from ...

We were up fairly early to catch the boat from GIli Meno to Gili Air. Oh course the boat was late to arrive it then got stuck in the sand so people had to walk off with their bags with water up to the top of their legs. You would think they would try move the boat while it was empty... Oh no we had to walk through the water with our bags to the boat. The boat was full with so many people, did it move... Of ...

... off. Apart from few tourists, the boat was basically just the people who worked in cafes and shops around Gili Trawangan, but lived in Lombok. I am pretty sure that boat was loaded beyond its capacity, and there were no life jackets in sight. Hehe .. at this point, you know that if the boat goes down, you are going down with it. Oh well, this is Asia, eh? The navigation system of the boat was also unique. The person controlling the motor and the direction, who was at the ...
