... very own Xmas pageant! (Black Pete is the subject of division in the Low Countries, with 60 people arrested today at protests in Holland).

Wandered the streets, with not much shopping done, and back to the hotel just before 6pm. Headed out for tea about 8pm in search of a meal that didn't come with chips! (DC's request was for a plate of steamed carrots). Found just the place across from the bus ...

Train journey 2 ... London St Pancras to Brussels Eurostar.
      Journey time 2hours 10minutes

Hearty breakfast at the college and a tube journey with expanding bags to St Pancras.

We finally found a map and worked out our location and went in search for Mannikin Pis. On the way we found a giant painting of a comic strip of Tintin, it was fantastic and apparently there are hundreds throughout the city.

We found Mannikin Pis easily and were surprised at how small he was. As we were about to leave the fountain in search for his sister we were stopped by ...

drug dealer and later saw him handcuffed at the back of a police car.
To make matters worse it was also raining.

I eventually found the correct way to the hotel
and made my way there. I checked in, found my room and unpacked a bit
trying to find the leak. I found out that my orange juice bottle had
leaked. I had planned on getting rid of it in Athens but had
forgotten to do so. It ...
