    ... with friends, buskers, waffles, and chocolate pretty much sums up our visit to this small student town. It's been a relaxing way to kick off our year. I look forward to heading back to Belgium for Rock Werchter in June!! The line up is insane and we've made new friends to come back and visit with.

    P.S. Leuven's scarf game is on another level.

    ... Belgian beer (the name escapes me but it was just about the best I’ve ever had). Maud gave me suggestions of where to go in and around Bordeaux and we parted company; my stay in the otherwise rather uninspiring Brussels was made great by the people I met. I head out to the home of my host, Jef, where I had dinner and sat around watching a B-movie until 2am with my host’s funny flatmates.

    ... town. The weather has been beautiful, 70s and sunny, and reminds me of Pennsylvania in the spring.

    Sadly, I am miserable at dutch. The roman language tongue does nothing for me here.

    ... We are experiencing all the seasons in one day. Brilliant! We just drive past Stuttgart Football Arena - looks unreal. Te boys are happy we just had lunch and we got lucky and found a subway on the service station! Lots of snow in St. Polten but looking lovely as always. Really nice hotel.
