This port is all about the shopping and beach. We rented a scooter and rode up the coast about 10 miles to a perfect sandy beach. Our driver was Antonis and he said his tidy looking Skoda taxi had travelled over 1 million kilometres and was on its second engine. He was a million man as he said that Katakolon has about 1 million tourists per year, mainly via cruise ship - there was a second ship in port at the same time we were. We noted that it had a hydroslide that included a clear section ...

... help of SPF15 he lay in the sun for over three hours, sleeping in between the noise of officers -v- passengers volleyball and the piped and live music. As would be assumed on a non shore day when it's hot and sunny, the pool decks were full of people until late in the afternoon. And unlike our last cruise, the pool water is a pleasant temperature, just cool enough to be refreshing without being cold. Ang made a slower start to the day and dozed in bed and watched ...
