Still suffering from a cold and exhausted from all the standing, I decided to let the others off without me to go for a drink.  Most things were closed for their version of New Year's day. However, I did manage to buy a pair of shoes that I could wear to the bars. Although, you get what you pay for in the market and the buckle ...

... and scones could be so filling? We would have felt well out of place in such a nice establishment had it not been for the Canadian guy sat next to us who was proudly showing us all the counterfeit stuff that he had bought in China. He had fake watches, fake headphones: even the rucksacks he had it in were counterfeit. The look on the face of the staff at the hotel when he laid it all out on the table was priceless.
