A zen moment
... at 89F for so much of the trip in NY. And then as I left higher land, I was lucky to get to the town after 35 min of riding in 93-95F temps. And, of course, with more road construction hold-ups just before the hotel I reached 100F.

I Loved Highway I86
... to travel mountains with so many trees and rivers. I was over-the-top enthusiastic about the first New York rest stop I hit, which happened to be on Lake Chatauqua. What a beautiful rest stop!!! What a view.

It has been a mild winter, but since we are leaving today for our Western Caribbean cruise - it had to snow. And I Drove
... I had to head south as needed to get below the great lakes before going west. Again, the roads were busy but the drive was scenic. I drove through Saratoga Springs and it looked really interesting. There were all these horse statues and then it hit me...right the horse races!
