    ... flight data, I decided to head towards Maine to visit Val Schmitt, a friend of mine from my high school. On the way, I figured we would stop in Rhode Island, both to eat brunch, as well as to stop in the 3rd of 4 states that I had never visited with the Long-EZ.

    ... light . we kayaked there one day for about three hours so we didn't see that much of the lake, but it had a couple of islands and a large mountain. beautiful. the north woods is an outdoor haven for fisherpeople and kayak and canoes, hunters,hikers, and alot of atv trails. the appalachian trail runs through this area. every place we go we love. but we think "where would we like to spend a summer?" and so ...

    ... beautiful beaches, eating the most delicious NZ lamb (many times, I have to say!), discovering Hokey Pokey Ice Cream . . It was all perfect!

    Nothing better than traveling with Sue, Betsy, and Bill! How great to have a family that can spend close to a month together and just plain have fun! Pretty special! I will close with a few pictures of Sue and me on our rafting trip. We did have fun!
