      ... on xmas day this year. So our Lindos Christmas as it stands is made up of a lot of food and probably, definitely a lot of **** tv. Can't wait!
      Plans for Athens; there are none. Apart from good food and lots of it. And cinema to see the new penguins of Madagascar film!!!!
      England plans; friends food and a gathering on Friday 24th with friends from here there and everywhere to say goodbye and have a good knees up. :)

      We had a morning tour Sue and Darren - a lovely couple who are not about religion and are well travelled and down to earth. We had a great day with them and wish now we were doing the Holy Land with them as they have a car and driver and space for two more.........       ... when we arrived at Chora we completely missed the stairs up to the monastery but had a great time wandering around this picturesque village, spotting restaurants with views for lunch and a bakery! We came across a church which we thought might be the monastery but were shooed out by the priest as he was leaving and locking everything.       ... up to a castle at the top which like many medieval fortresses replace Greek and roman temples and reused much of the marble from the prior temples. The view of the Aegean sea from the top was amazing. The top of the castle had ancient roman rooms. You could take a donkey up to the top, but we were advised against it as some people fall off and get injured. I got a nice linen pants and almost left ...
