... that was a good one.
After I got my ticket (there were still plenty available) I had some fried bananas! and roti for 'lunch.' while I waited for the boat (1:30). I thought about walking down to Wisma Merbeka to get lunch from the yummy quiche place down there but it was really hot and it would have been a good fifteen minute walk each direction so I decided not to.

... somewhere nice for Hannah's birthday meal so found the best five star, possibly the only five star hotel on the island and headed there for dinner. Sadly it didn't live up to our expectations at all. I think our standards were set way too high after the incredible Bangkok buffet we had with Ella and Besty hehehe!

No outlet, no bathroom, just two beds and a very small lamp and a ceiling fan that went so slow it really wasn't worth it. I just got a bad feeling and was not happy to be in Melaka. We walked a half an hour to Old Town (oh the guest house was also in the middle of nowhere) and got lunch. Then ...
