The locals accused them of disturbing the Gods. All of the tourist were arrested. It was in the BBC international news. They still have a lot of folkloric beliefs here. ... the ferry. The guy was like 'no problem, I'll come and pick you up and drive you into town.'

At this point I was like, what? You're too nice... Then again, I might have done the same for someone I ran into in Seattle if I could, just because I know how it is and I like helping other people when I can. Apparently, they never found out why the tower looked like a chimney & they even had archeologists sent to check for traces ...

... very concerned over the updates on the ferry. Halfway through the BBQ dinner, many people walked to the TV and news on the tragedy. None of us could call out as there was no line at all. The locals told us that that was the first time that the island had no line. Maybe that was a way to prevent us from spreading the news out of the island as it happened right at the place we were staying. Kampung Genting, Tioman. Pray for the best for the ...
