I have picked up some kind of tropical disease, because that's what happens to adventurers - just ask Indiana Jones. It's a very clever disease. it's disguising itself as a common cold, but with a slight twist; and here's the masterstroke - I have a very painful earache with it. I have tried getting whatever's hurting in there out with a stick that i found on the ground but that just made it worse. See, I told you it ...
Billings, Montana, United States hollidayThe Hampton was nice, new and comfortable. We woke this morning, enjoyed the hotel breakfast. We organized our bags and cleaned out the car; tossed out our cooler, food, drinks and utensils then headed for the airport. Billings is another extremely small airport. It was easy to park the rental car and walk to the gate.

Let the all day journey home begin....

We're delayed to Denver, 20 minutes.
I headed up to my room in a daze, overwhelmed by the massive
TV, plush sofa and giant, comfy double bed and coffee peculator. I
showered and then collapsed in a jet-lagged, exhausted heap.
Billings, Montana, United States ab1kenobeWe traveled to billings , because we wanted to get new tires on the truck, the little wear indicators were almost smowing so we thought it would be best to be safe rather than sorry. Because Montana doesnt have any sales tax , its a good state to make big purchases. We researched on the net and it appears that Costco is ...
Billings, Montana, United States brentandjo... even let her on to get her bag off the bus and so, having asked her what it looked like, got on themselves to get it off.
She (like EVERY person on the bus,) had a 'black' bag.. The police found one, showed her through the window and she nodded that it was hers. As they took it off the bus and opened it to check it was, they found a crackpipe inside. She denied it was hers and on closer inspection, they found the wallet of the correct owner of the bag who was ...
Billings, Montana, United States sara.a... a climber attempt to scale the rock.

Our next destination was the Little Big Horn Battlefield National Monument in Montana, the sight of Custer's Last Stand. We watched a brief video about the park, toured the museum, then drove around the Battlefied reading the markers that described the battle between the troops and the Lakota Sioux and the Northern Cheyenne indian tribes.

Leaving there, we headed on to our destination the KOA in ...

Billings, Montana, United States nocknock... the 1,000 tipis along the Little Bighorn River, the bravery and brilliance of the Sioux and Cheyenne, the inspiration of Sitting Bull and the ferocity of Crazy Horse. The terrain and views are essentially the same as they were in 1876, and the Park has seen some important improvements in the past couple of decades, including a moving Indian Memorial. We noted that a memorial to the ...
Billings, Montana, United States linda_allen... miles takes you from ten thousand feet to four thousand feet, in places it is very steep.. None of that seems bad does it?? Well, this road has been "under construction" for ten years!!! Thus it is a gravel road and gravel and motorcycles do not do well together. There are no guard rails and many, many hairpin turns. One of the rangers said everyone calls that entrance the "Oh my god road ".... I would certainly agree!!! Thus I felt we would cut up ...
Billings, Montana, United States dldementedI backtracked somewhat to I90 and headed north into Montana, my 39th state, first stop being the Custer Battlefield National Monument. It was fixed up rather nicely and had nice views. There was a small national military cemetery there where I might be able to be buried since I was in the army. It did seem to have a number of Vietnam war dead there.
I guess that was appropriate-to bury the dead from a misbegotten war at the site of one of the worst military ...
