... and was the height and width of a brick!

We trained back down to Wengen and then hiked down the remaining distance in about an hour or so. This was a lovely walk but quite a challenge as its practically a vertical section which you descend via super steep, endless switchbacks. Trys and I were both walking down backwards by the end of it as the legs were jelly and the knees a bit sore.

Are only other stop worthy of mention was on ...

... and I never see her again. Chilling back in town we happen to see some people from the train back early, Trent and Sophie followed by Adam and Mel, all four tell us that it was **** and the majority of people have come back early, not just them.

Lecca needs some fresh air so us boys have a kick on the massive oval there, some pommy guy has a cry when the ball hits his poorly parked car so we call it off, whinging poms living up to their reputation. Everyone bails us up ...

... Abbie's wedding :) To compliment the lovely gardens, every now and then one gets a wiff of something quite agrarian - but little wonder as next thing you'll see a paddock of cows when you are actually still within the outskirts of town! We are now sitting in the local laundromat, watching washing machines and driers going around while we prepare ourselves for the next leg of our journey - off to England ...

... we board the train for the return ride. When the train emerges at the "Eigergletscher" stop, we get off and walk a half mile or so below hanging glaciers to the next train stop of Klein Scheidegg (where all the beautiful people hung out on the patio of the DesAlpes Hotel peering through telescopes at the Eiger Nordwand in the Eiger Sanction). ... up the mountain for about 45min. The views all the way were like you're in a nature documentary and the very highest we got on the road was 2400m above sea level. No way near the highest peak in Switzerland (4600m) but it seemed like we were on top of the world. The road then continued back down the other side with more hairpin corners that I had mastered ...
