I left amsterdam today to head back to germany. Stopped at a place called giethoorn which is an entire village in water. You can rent a boat for just 15 euros and sail around for an hour. It was interesting but the drive back through european mountains and farmland was equally ...

There's too much to say about my mini holiday in the crazy Dutch country so I'm just going to summarise my time in it with a few paragraphs. Holland is definitely more than just Amsterdam, it's full of such nice people who make you feel so welcome in their home ^^ I mean it's nearly as bad as my home with the amount of food offered. We managed it all but not without a bit of stress for me – will we find their place ok? will we have any trouble with public transport? etc, etc, etc. But all ...

We had a really lazy start and didn't get up 'till after 9am! A few days ago we bought some Ossenworst which looked interesting (we like to try different things) and we had not had before and it looked like a pate. However when we opened and tried it, it tasted raw. Us being us and don't like to throw things out, John decided to fry it this morning for his breakfast and it was delicious like sausages. I am sure someone can advise ...
