... I look forward to taking him out in the States for something much more authentic whenever he is able to come by to visit me!
Seemingly just as soon as I arrived I found myself saying goodbye already and reversing my short walk to the tram platform, the train station and back down the Rhine river valley toward Switzerland to meet my family in Zurich. Another day of trams, trains and stations...just hopefully no more grumpy ticket agents!
... a beautiful castle, circa 1600's, and met some landscape artists two of whom were working on a giant beehive, and further on a few were building a low wall out of forest debris. We also saw a windmill just outside the town of Heeze, complete with goats and miniature ponies. We then continued along the bike path towards the town of Valkenswaard, stopping for lunch at a lovely thatched restaurant ...
... of the Centrum including the bubble e, and shopping for books.
We enjoyed a lemon chicken picatta dinner courtesy of SusanJ and Kathleen, we uses Tante Magda's string bean "guillotine" to cut up the beans.

... fast, efficient, always on time and very clean, We arrived at Nancy's aunt's place (tante Magda) early afternoon, Nancy had arrived a day before, we had a lovely lunch of Dutch cheese, bread, olives and wine. Doesn't get much better than that! We took it easy in the afternoon, waited for SusanJ to arrive, went out to do groceries and came back for a nice homemade dinner of "Stump" salad, and more wine. ...
