Day 10: Florence
... We watched some kids run into a creperie and decided it was time for Mom to try her first Nutella crepe. They are so gooey and chocolatey and sweetly delicious. Once we were in Santa Croce, we only had a little time, so went straight to the Masters' tombs. I can't explain the absolute disbelief and surrealty of standing in front of the spot where Galileo, Michelangelo and Dante rest. They blocked off the kitchen part of the room so it could not be used. During the week we
had many sleepless nights as the guy that owned the place always had lots ...

... here. Everything was so beautiful, classy. Throughout the dinner people were dancing, I got up and did the Macarena with one other person. At the end of the dinner all of us got up and were dancing with a couple old Italian men and had a lot of fun. And the meal. Once again it was absolutely amazing. They serve the pasta like an appetizer, but I definitely didn't eat it like an appetizer. So amazing. I wanted to cry it was so good. The best food I've ever had in my life ...
