... it was a big job to find a cat the size of a large dog, with fantastic camouflage in a hundred-square km of high altitude valleys.

We met two groups of trekkers who’d seen snow leopard way in the distance for a short time. We hoped that we would be lucky, too. Even with their 600m lenses it was tiny but I thought to myself, I’d be happy with that. We heard of groups had spent days here but didn’t see a cat at all.

... langsamer, z.B. das highspeed Internet. So langsam., dass wir leider keine Fotos hinaufladen koennen. Aber die Landschaft ist bezaubernd. Besonders eindruecklich ist der Kontrast zwischen den gruenen Orten und der steinigen, kargen Berglandschaft. (Uebrigens, wir haben keinen Natelempfang hier.)
