Phil cooked our steak on the grill at the 11th Street Grill restaurant the first evening. We visited with Dave/Linda (our co-campers) and Tim/Julie(next to us).
We had potluck supper the next evening in the rally hall.
Friday was the day to tour other campers, with lots of visiting. We went into town to look around and ate at OST. Phil helped put shocks on Dave's camper that evening.

By the time it finished the sun was out and we had wanted to take the trolley tour but the first available was 2pm, quite a wait so we took the open ...

There was a live band, and every time a song came on half the crowd would get up and dance the two-step! It was quite old fashioned - the gentlemen would get up and ask the women to dance, they would have one dance then return them. Justin and I two-stepped a few times. It was so much fun! Everyone was ...

... and scotch, and ended up sitting with them until midnight. The four of us got through three bottles of wine, a few beers each, and Justin and Charlie finished a small bottle of Beam. We talked about everything from the best places to go in Texas to gun control in Australia and the USA. Charlie, being Texan, is pro-guns and even took Justin to his cabin to show him his gun (he he!). Charlie and Kathi have been married 34 years and they go away every year for their wedding ...
