... chst mal 8 km runter bevor dann die letzten 35 km unter die Latten genommen werden. Wir konnten die Route immer wieder vom Auto aus sehen und bekamen so einen gewissen Eindruck, was es noch bedeutete um Mora zu erreichen. Im Bereich des Zielgeländes vom Wasalauf gab es ein sehr schönes Restaurant wo wir uns ein ausgezeichnetes Nachtessen genehmigten. Wir hatten einen sehr interessanten und erlebnisreichen Tag und freuten uns auf einen zweiten Lesetag ...

It's my birthday today and Johann's family sang happy birthday to me in the morning before we set off and Nilla bought me a eye blind fold with the words "sweet dreams" written on...apparently the further north you go the longer the daylight and as my tent is bright yellow inside, I think they will come in very handy!
Johann and I rode to Tolle's house after we had both checked our tyre pressures and fulled up in down town Varnamo.

Brennend heißer Wüstensand...
... Nun sitzen wir nach einem köstlichen Mahl in unserem Hotel bei einem kleinen "Absacker" -Bier mit 3,5 Vol.% und hoffen, das diese wenigen Prozente uns die nötige Bettschwere verleihen mögen. Mein Gesicht brennt abends immer nach so einem Trip und vielleicht kommt daher der Gedanke an: "brennend heißer Wüstensand!". Ich schmücke mich jetzt auch noch mit fremden Federn wenn ich die Tageslosung ausgebe:
"Hoffentlich hälts Wetter!"

Skiing with the pro!!!
We were able to make it up to the mountains one last time to ski with Bengt´s dad - Stig. He is just unbelievable at almost 88 years he is still able to get out and ski a few kilometers every day!!! He is determined to stay as healthy as possible, but he has lead a real healthy life as well, which of course has helped. The weather was good even if it was a bit warm.
