Great hosts Paul & Nudeng. Masaman curry was delicious. Beach hut right on the beach.

... enjoying the last of our time in Thailand, at least for a few months. The next morning we caught the ferry back to the mainland and were taken back to Bangkok by mini bus, Thankfully it was a significantly more relaxing journey than the one from Pattaya and we arrived at our airport hotel without a hitch. We were a little sad to be leaving Thailand but really excited about the next part of our adventure. Visiting Lucy's sister and her husband, Louise and Dan in Ho Chi Minh. Viet Nam here we ...

First day was spent touring the island with Ball, our tour guide for the day and for 350baht each we saw the museum, temple, school and all the view points.

... us from Sihanoukville right through to the ferry at Ko Chang, Thailand. By the end of our journey eleven hours later, our simple, convenient bus ticket had morphed into a bewildering series of mini-bus rides in addition to the main three-hour air-conditioned bus ride to the border. Even now Nancy and I cannot agree on how many bus rides the trip involved, but around eight would not be very inaccurate.

Sihanoukville, the border town of Hat Lek, Trat, and on to Ko Chang ...
