I was up early and hyped, i was really wanting my ears to pop so i can do the open water dives, if i could not then i couldn't get certified. I had a small breakfast in my room again (yogurt and chocolate milk) and headed over to the shop in my swim shorts. I arrived and was greeted by Miki, whom sat me down in front of the laptop and i watched the learning videos for a couple of hours. Afterward we climbed on his motorbike and headed for the pool for skills learning and practice. ...

    Drift Dive

A travel blog entry by gdsanner on Nov 29, 2013

Today we did our drift dive for the Advanced certification. A drift dive is when you just drift with the current and don't use too much of your own power to move around. A (rainy) day at the beach

A travel blog entry by livefreegypsy on Nov 22, 2013

We woke up today super excited to have a beach day. We were pointed to one particular beach from a local; he said it would be far less crowded. He thought it weird we go to the beach in the rain. Now you all know I have ...

I am still thoroughly enjoying it and my training Ni asked me if I would have a professional fight as he thinks I will be ready in 3 weeks.

I am leaving in a week when my visa runs out which is a little disappointing as id really like to fight but I will keep up muay ...

    Phuket - Thailand's largest island

We got off the ferry in Phuket and got in our transfer minibus to our hotel. It took a while to find our hotel, our minibus driver didn't seem to know where it was along with some of the other hotels where the others on the bus were staying it seemed. I think he was having a bad day. Once we arrived we were really pleased, the hotel looked lovely, really nice room and it was super cheap compared to Koh Phi Phi. We had no complaints at all. After we'd settled in we decided to head out ...
