      ... Worn by most Cambodians to cover their feet to protect from the sun. Yes they don't want sunburn or for their skin to get darker and to keep them cleaner! Flip Flops are the Norm for footwear. MY intent is to use them for my kayak trips and keep the mosquitos from eating my feet when wearing my flip flops at campsite. wooohooooo!!!

      ... as the grounds are extremely dry at this time of year but the lotus fields are very wet.

      We then teach the second group from 13.00 - 15.00 which is Always alot harder as it is alot warmer and flies in the classroom everywhere. It is hard to keep their focus.

      From 15.00 - 17.00 the children are expected to work in the farm which I usually join them to bond with them and learn a bi about them. But it is very difficult as to how to handle each ...

      We had learned much of Cambodia’s ancient history earlier in visiting Siem Reap and the Angkor area where the magnificent temples are located. Now, during much of the trip to Phnom Penh, our guide detailed Cambodia’s history over the past century, highlighting the recent 30 years of incessant civil warfare and focused on the Khmer Rouge period from 1975 to 1979.

      ... TOO much tequila! We learned our lesson eventually and stopped losing and buying shots. To be honest by this time it was all too late, all too hazy and I think I even may have been singing. Me singing is pretty much the end of the line so at 3am we left Howie’s in search of our hotel which was two blocks away.
