    Sorted out our Vietnam Visas first thing, wanted to leave Phnom Penh tomorrow as there's not much to do but as it's Saturday, Visas take 2 days rather than 1. Of course they do. So just agreed to stay another day (don't have much choice) and ride it out.     ... a jet engine so every one can chart one's habits. The jewel of the Raffles is the buffet breakfast and dinner. Great spread and beautiful tasty food.

    The group consensus is that we like Siem Reap better, not just for the temples but for the more laid back atmosphere. I would suggest do Phnom Penh first then to Siem Reap for some chill time.

    ... Viewing the photos of the the innocent, some after torture was harrowing and seeing the children sent us weeping. While we were there we met one of the prisoners that had managed to escape, but with our hearts filled of sadness we couldn't say much, we wanted to give him a hug but this was more for our benefit than his, so we refrained.
