Many towns only have electricity for set hours each day, and even when it’s on internet outside of Manila rarely moves faster than a crippled tortoise. Sure, I can do without social media and streaming videos, but even checking emails can feel like running uphill on sand, and booking flights online nearly left me bald!

... the exit, we took the road leading to Talisay. From there it was quick drive up the ridge on a scenic and winding road. We headed to Cliffside Inn and had a sumptuous 3 course meal and a bottle of wine at Buon Giorno Restaurant. Just a perfect ending in what was a truly fun an unforgettable holiday. Kalaw Place definitely deserves a second and longer visit!
