    Breakfast at the hotel and a visit to the battistero and the cathedral. Found a deli and bought up big - parma ham, parma cheese, balsamic, Lambrusco and olive oil.     Left home and started our 5 hr drive at 0930 and after going over the gotthard pass we stopped for lunch in Bissone at La Palma hotel restaurant for a lovely lunch right by lake Lugano. Had an amazing pistachio crusted lamb and strawberries for dessert and very strong coffee (much needed). Sienna was very content in the car - giggling at granny making silly noises and faces.
