Bologna- Milano-Como. Cloudy and showers 18 deg

Frecciarossa back to Milan. Had enough of cities, though Bologna has character, and want to get out to country. Hotel breakfast ok- scrambled eggs and meatballs and big flat round bread loaves. ... and just how you would imagine an Italian village/town to be.

After a couple of cups of coffee we set off for Parma and arrived at our hotel for the night.

The hotel was located on the north side of the city and the room was probably the best that we had been accommodated in so far.

We dumped our bags and got a taxi into the city ...

... get us to Parma......I then work out that the train to Recci is boarding so I need to find Rhid.....sure enough he's in the Information booth talking to a confused looking assistant. I tell Rhid we need to go....and I'm wondering why the assistant was looking confused. Rhid was one step ahead of me.....sure we get the train to Recci and get off at Parma but which train do we need to get on to get to Aulla........."Ah.." says I.... nope hadn't thought of that.
