Sometimes Sapporo doesn't seem so far removed from home. What a magic day. In the morning we made fresh tracks through powder knee deep, which was magic. Later we did some off piste skiing through waist deep powder which was fun but tricky. This is a town that doesn't start till 9am. We thought we could catch up on early breakfast and get moving. At 8.30am, we could not find any coffeeshop that is open. I do find it odd that the Furano March coffeeshop doesn't open till 9am. Guess the tour buses don't start arriving till then.
Made our way to the Ningle terrace near the Shin Crown Plaza. Not much to see in the morning. The main coffeeshop there opens at 10am.
