    I got up early and took the tram (Bybanen) to the bus station in Bilbao. Apparaently bus is the easiest way to move around in the Basque as trains are unreliable and not very fast.. At 10 am (an hour after leavin Bilbao) I arrived in beautiful San Sebastián - or Donostia in basque. I took a taxi to my hotel (Hotel San Sebastian) and was told I could not check in before noon.
