This is a great place to stay if you are looking for apartment accommodation in Auckland. It is very central at the top of Queen Street i.e is right in the city centre. Very well run with good daily housekeeping service and really comfie beds.

... games on the table. After lunch we went home to take a long walk on the beach. Unfortunately, it was absolutely freezing to go swimming. So we walked the beach for two hours and picked up so many seashells!! On the walk we went over to the rock pools. After a break taking in the view, we decided to cross the stream using stepping stones and take a different route back. Luckily neither of us fell in! We did another short walk along the beach at Piha and got a great view of the dramatic coast driving south towards Auckland.

To begin with there was no one opposite us, and we’d hoped it would stay that way, but it didn’t. At the first stop the bus was packed, so no leg room, it was terrible. The bus stopped somewhere and we got off to get some food, ended up in Mcdonalds as Ari wanted her last Georgie Pie!
Got back on the bus and continued in uncomfortable seats. Stopped at another place and picked up some wifi from an intercity bus behind is. Got an email saying ...

Are we sad it's our last day? Are we just that little bit homesick now that makes it alright to be happy to go home? Or should we start it all over again? Not really sure! Up early and airport shuttle booked for tomorrow at 10 am.

So off for last day in Auckland and New Zealand. As we are not that impressed with Auckland on land we thought we'd do Auckland by sea today. We went over to Devonport by ferry and looked back on the iconic ...
