This is a great place to stay if you are looking for apartment accommodation in Auckland. It is very central at the top of Queen Street i.e is right in the city centre. Very well run with good daily housekeeping service and really comfie beds.

Had to leave Fiji today, we are in love with this amazing country and the incredible people. We headed really early to the airport, the taxi driver creased up! He played a game and asked us questions to see how well we know each other. We checked on to our flight, the plane was beautiful inside . . . nicest one we have ever been on. When we arrived …

We're up and out fairly early the next morning, and can tell already that the weather is changing – it’s grey and windy with the threat of rain in the air. We head through Dargaville and stop for a quick game of disc golf at a nearby nine-hole course, and Vin manages to shred his leg on some brambles! We continue on towards Auckland down the Twin Coast Highway, and eventually find ourselves back on Highway 1, this time heading south. We cross over ...

... refused to pack my bags for a good hour and bless Daisy for putting up with me. I should probably be very embarrassed by my behaviour but I'll blame it on the alcohol and emotions running high with bidding farewells. It's a good time for me to be leaving as there's only a short while left of the season anyway and the shifts were getting increasingly boring but I'm going to miss Auckland so much. It is such a fun, vibrant little city that has given me some ...

... ten years and in New Zealand for 30 years, having originally come on a two-year contract. Their children and grandchildren are fairly nearby, all still in the Auckland area. One of their daughters was born in Ormskirk - they have relations in the Croston/Longton area near Preston. Cup cakes and a pot of tea later, we were left to our own devices. We read our books for a while in the cool of the house. In the late afternoon, we drove down ...
