This is a great place to stay if you are looking for apartment accommodation in Auckland. It is very central at the top of Queen Street i.e is right in the city centre. Very well run with good daily housekeeping service and really comfie beds.

... 300 for a trip around the North Island. It turns out that the lady I booked with just decided not to do her job and didn't tell anyone I was coming. Not a great start considering I was told I would have to wait another 4/5 days to get on the next bus (it's peak season so its really busy) hence missing/ having to delay my flight to Chile. The guy at my hostel in Auckland upon discovering this was absolutely amazing and spent over an hour trying to help me. Eventually he managed to get me ...

... eating Mexican and Italian, I decided to go for an Indian vegetarian restaurant, called Rasoi at 211 Karangahape Rd. It was 10 min walk there, the restaurant front window was very appealing with colourful display of the Indian sweets. I decided to go for the set meal. My meal was tasty and v reasonable for choice of two curries, roti, rice, dal, salad and poppadum's. I also bought samosas and bhaji ...
