This is a great place to stay if you are looking for apartment accommodation in Auckland. It is very central at the top of Queen Street i.e is right in the city centre. Very well run with good daily housekeeping service and really comfie beds.

I was struck by travelling for the first time in a long time outside of my normal routine. Can't remember the name of the movie, but George Clooney played a frequent flyer and I could relate to much of that movie due to my own international air travels. ... is a great time to visit. The town of Flagstaff is quite charming, especially the old downtown area, histocric Route 66. Katelyn and I took an early morning stroll around town and saw lots of old buildings, old motels and interesting signs. They have along this route tried to preserve some of the R66 character and therefore its charm. It has worked. I imagine it is quite a popular town for travellers - gateway to National Parks, including Grand Canyon, ...

... change to Air New Zealand which would get me into Auckland at midnight, 8 hours later than planned.

So I settled down at gate 12 with over 2 hours wait, get out my ipad, connect up the wifi and begin communicating with various people to explain what had happened. No sooner had I got my self comfortable, checking my emails and updating the blog the lady next to me began chatting. She began telling me about her daughter and what a wonderfully clever girl she is. ...
