This is a great place to stay if you are looking for apartment accommodation in Auckland. It is very central at the top of Queen Street i.e is right in the city centre. Very well run with good daily housekeeping service and really comfie beds.

Safely across the bridge we encountered King and Gentoo penguins swimming and waddling around in the cold. We then had to quickly check in to our hostel as our limousine was waiting to take us skydiving! We were all pooing ourselves, especially Beth! After getting all geared up and ready we got on the plane and flew to 15,000 ft where we jumped! Nicola jumped first, then Jen and then Beth! ...

... is where we had our last few drinks. It had been a great night. Sarah and I felt like we really experienced a true Auckland nightlife and solidified a friendship with a great guy. Mike dropped us off at the airport where we said our goodbyes. I can't wait to showing he same treatment if he ever comes to England. At the airport we had a long wait. Check in wasn't until 3 and the flight at 6. We slept in the airport and like zombies checked in. Our New Zealand trip ...

... Rewi, who is such an interesting guy I might add ( Maori, famous wood sculptor and chef with his own cooking show) took us to the west side of the harbor to a cultural center in the rainforest. We then hiked to a wonderful waterfall where the kids, and some of the big kids, got into the freezing water! Burr. We visited the Gannett bird colony which was fascinating and then headed down to the black beach for some sand collecting, body surfing, and football. After that ...
