This is a great place to stay if you are looking for apartment accommodation in Auckland. It is very central at the top of Queen Street i.e is right in the city centre. Very well run with good daily housekeeping service and really comfie beds.

... more than in 1984 for sure, but from what I have tasted none of any great quality. The Australian cheese in Australia was much better. In case you think I am being unfair I have been trying to get some NZ style Camembert to ripen into flavour to no avail. That said, milk, butter and cheese are very cheap here. The other pertinent question is perhaps what happens if China (NZ's largest dairy export market) develops its own dairy industry; does NZ have to rely on bungee ...

Lake Kiratua is the venue for the NZ training river for rowers. There was an amazing village that specialised in corrugated iron of all things and all the advertising signs used corrugated iron! There were several places with road works and we think wscc should come and have lessons how to ...

... ready to leave. I had ordered my taxi for around 14:00 as getting out of the main city area I was in would take awhile with traffic and all. Popped out for some lunch just before the car came. It then took around 40 mins to get to the airport and I was quite impressed as the taxi drivers choice of music was westlife! One thing I couldn't work out about Hong Kong was the weather. It was about 20C but I couldn't decipher whether it was actually that warm or whether ...

Excitement/nerves are at an all time high. There are less than 11 hours to go till we take off on our grand adventure. Given that the countdown started at 287 days, it's almost unbelievable that in less than 11 hours we are London bound. It's 1 day and 19 hours till I am reunited with some seriously special people. It's been 502 days since I was chucking back Moët in Sale St in denial that Zoe may not return from her 2 ...
