    ... t get much sleep at all. Today summed up: What I saw: The Isle of Capri. The Blue Grotto - I even got to swim in this - we tipped the boat guide €5 to let us do this.     ... on more shops! The beach was extremely stony so Susan wet her feet and I swam but kept my sandals on.
    No sunhats - surprising how few people wear hats - especially the children.
    The cost of hiring beach chairs & umbrellas 20€ each for recliner and umbrella for the day, 15€ for a chair and umbrella. For you, Sir, a special deal 20€ for 2 for an hour!

    ... Rome had the worst until we got to Pompeii. There was no such thing as an easy walk or drive in Rome. Everything is bumpy. Pompeii though had large boulders as pavers and there wasn't a flat one among them. We walked a circuit through the archaelogical site and learning some of the basic history.
