The nine hour journey from Ko Samui to Ko Phi Phi went impressively smoothly considering we had to get three buses and two ferries! We hadn't booked a hotel and when we arrived on the island we were relying on one of the many hotels reps to sell us a good deal. Whilst I was still getting our bags off the ferry, Chelsea went off in search of a good hotel. We settled for a fairly decent one which was in a good location. We spent 1 night in Patong, Phuket so that we were ready to get the ferry to Phi Phi the next day.

... day before. The boat first went to Railay beach and picked up more people before heading to Phuket. The ferry cost 700 baht, which kind of seemed a lot, but these are both 2 major tourist destinations. The boat ride took probably around 2 hours and it was a beautiful day to spend out on the water. We finally arrived and then they bused us to our hotel, which was probably another 45 minutes. The bus ride was kind of scary since it is way ...

... the power cut lasted longer and my phone didn't have much battery. I went to reception and asked what was happening and they said it wasn't anything to do with them it was outside somewhere and it would last about an hour. Not sure what I was supposed to do as the whole street was down! I ended up having a nap because I obviously had no wifi! 45 minutes later It came back on so I watched films and updated my blogs all evening, I was nearly 3 weeks behind so it's taken me a ...
