Historical Traveler Reviews Servigroup Orange Hotel Benidorm
On arrival at the hotel orange i found the staff very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were immaculate, the maid service was wonderful. The restaurant was superbly clean and the food was good. The pool area was also extremely clean and well maintained. The staff were excellent and very friendly especially to the kids, considering the hotel has a reputation for the older guests they catered well for children although i would have prefered a more varied menu for children.
The hotel was situated in the centre of the entertainment, shops and the beach. The entertainment was ok but could have been better.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Benidorm, and i would most definately go for a return visit.
No complaints....only the pensioners
just returned from a week in the orange,wow..what a location.right in the action.food was fine, hotel just been refurbished n everythings new in rooms and public areas.only drawback was it was full of the elderly who go to bed at 10pm and get up at 7am.make any noise after 10 at night and boy were they banging on the walls.didnt bother us,we were just going out n coming in between these times, there were a few ruffled feathers from other guests who wanted to sit on there balconies though with a few beers.by the time we were leaving there was a younger crowd around..i couldnt find any fault with the place, really is worth the extra to stay here.even with the pensioners..bless em.
very nice hotel just refurbished, food was very good but a bit repetitive.more suitable for older people, even though it is amongst all the bars and clubs

The best in benidorm
if you are planning a holiday to benidorm this is the hotel to book. i have travelled far and wide but this is a hotel i could go back to again and again. great food, peaceful atmosphere and discreet but very helpful staff. also in a great location right in the heart of benidorm. dont worry about sleeping through the local noise as all rooms are double glazed and air conditioned....book this for a great break!!

A great hotel in every way
My partner & I have just returned from our fifth visit to the Orange,we love the place, & will be going back again.
Terrified of heights
The Orange Hotel is a great place to stay in Benidorm. The food was great, the staff friendly and it is in a good location. The only thing I didn't like about staying there was that we were put on the top floor, I am terrifed of heights, I couldn't sleep too well because I knew I was so high up and I did not go on the balcony or I'm sure I would have passed out. We asked the tour operator for a room on a low floor, obviously, asking for this doesn't mean you will get it and you dont know until you get there if you have or not.
Just wish we had been put on a low floor. I would have enjoyed my stay at the Orange a lot more.
Travelled, First Choice 29-July-2003 Arrived in the middle of the heat wave. The hotel is fully air conditioned. Excellent. The chef and food are international standard. 4 minutes walk to the beach. The hotel entertainment stops at midnight but life then starts outside the hotel doors. Cabaret bars, discos, late night bars. Everything a tourist could want and I am 70. One gripe, the hotel D.J. should get some English and American tapes. Staff were very helpful. Saw some wheelchairs.so the hotel caters for all groups, young old or infirm. Will definitely be back.

... lunch. Got a few dances after dinner and then up for the syndicate quiz. The question master was not one of the usual people and her questions were rubbish. Suffice to say the winning score was 11/20 and it was not us. The normal winner score has been 16+. Now looking forward to getting ashore in Tangiers. We hope the captain is using a different navigational map from the one showing on the TV in the cabins. The map shows Tangiers almost in ...
Hi...some of you have asked about my blog...yes, it's been MIA (missing in action) lately, probably because we've been living a pretty normal routine. Nothing much to mention as daily life seems to be a bit boring for anyone who's not in the middle of it. But since some of you aren't on Facebook where I post the "routine" stuff I'll try to bring things up to date.
We have plenty of upcoming travels while should be blog worthy. ...
After our siesta, we decided to climb the castle back to were we got engaged and take a picture of our hands together overlooking the city like we did so many years ago. The climb was so. Hard. It felt like miles of uphill climbing. I didn't think I was ...
We woke up around noon and went exploring past La Rambla. We went to see all the fresh fish and meats at Mercado Crentral, bought some turrones for gifts from a charming, jolly old man at a kiosk. Then it started to rain so we sucked into a Lizarran and had a couple of pinxtos for lunch. We kept walking and ended up at Plaza de Los Luceros. We then went to el Corte Ingles and a charming little ceramics shop were we got a couple of gifts. Then it was siesta ...
After lunch, we came home to get ready for our photo shoot. We dressed nicely and then we met Maria at SoHo where we took a taxi to El Castillo. There we took a bunch of pictures and then we went to a spot overlooking the city where we had taken a picture of our hand four years ago. There he popped the question! We both cried as the photographer shot away. We came down we barrio and took a few more pictures. After, ...
