    Hotel Orange

    from

On arrival at the hotel orange i found the staff very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were immaculate, the maid service was wonderful. The restaurant was superbly clean and the food was good. The pool area was also extremely clean and well maintained. The staff were excellent and very friendly especially to the kids, considering the hotel has a reputation for the older guests they catered well for children although i would have prefered a more varied menu for children.

The hotel was situated in the centre of the entertainment, shops and the beach. The entertainment was ok but could have been better.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Benidorm, and i would most definately go for a return visit.

    No complaints....only the pensioners

    from

just returned from a week in the orange,wow..what a location.right in the action.food was fine, hotel just been refurbished n everythings new in rooms and public areas.only drawback was it was full of the elderly who go to bed at 10pm and get up at 7am.make any noise after 10 at night and boy were they banging on the walls.didnt bother us,we were just going out n coming in between these times, there were a few ruffled feathers from other guests who wanted to sit on there balconies though with a few beers.by the time we were leaving there was a younger crowd around..i couldnt find any fault with the place, really is worth the extra to stay here.even with the pensioners..bless em.

    Great time

very nice hotel just refurbished, food was very good but a bit repetitive.more suitable for older people, even though it is amongst all the bars and clubs

    Terrified of heights

    from

The Orange Hotel is a great place to stay in Benidorm. The food was great, the staff friendly and it is in a good location. The only thing I didn't like about staying there was that we were put on the top floor, I am terrifed of heights, I couldn't sleep too well because I knew I was so high up and I did not go on the balcony or I'm sure I would have passed out. We asked the tour operator for a room on a low floor, obviously, asking for this doesn't mean you will get it and you dont know until you get there if you have or not.

Just wish we had been put on a low floor. I would have enjoyed my stay at the Orange a lot more.

    Fab Hotel

    from

Travelled, First Choice 29-July-2003 Arrived in the middle of the heat wave. The hotel is fully air conditioned. Excellent. The chef and food are international standard. 4 minutes walk to the beach. The hotel entertainment stops at midnight but life then starts outside the hotel doors. Cabaret bars, discos, late night bars. Everything a tourist could want and I am 70. One gripe, the hotel D.J. should get some English and American tapes. Staff were very helpful. Saw some wheelchairs.so the hotel caters for all groups, young old or infirm. Will definitely be back.

Then it was back to Casa Cronk to pack our bags ready for the trip North to Andy and Julie the next day. The evening was spent playing games over snacks and drinks with a final carajillo de Baileys at the Avenida bar before turning in ready for an early start the next ...

... hairpin bends, to an out of the way bar called l'Entra for delicious tapas. We were the only people dining that night, if you exclude the hungry looking cats that were tempted to join us. The tapas dishes were random, with no menu to go from, and kept coming until we gave the word to stop. A really fun way to eat with some tasty surprises and not one disappointment. At the end of the meal the owner lined up several bottles of grappas, etc and let us take our pick - happy ...

... my aim wasn't as good as Ian's which meant he burnt a few more calories than me hunting down a rapidly sinking frisbee! Off to the local pizzeria for dinner and a relatively early night via the bar (even more local then the first one being about 30 secs away), and another carajillo de baileys, where we met Ian and Elaine who are Casa Cronk neighbours. Ians are very popular in ...

... having enjoyed a beverage out on our balcony drinking in our sensational view we would stroll the Paseo Maritimo Infanta Elena. Our time in Spain had evolved into a little bit of a Sangria tasting tour and there was no shortage of venues from which to indulge. It was so nice to sink into a comfy lounge at the front of a bar and watch the world go by as the changing light of the evening transformed Ifach rock and we reflected on our perfect days.
