On a day trip from Florence, ISA brought us to a little Tuscan town called San Gimignano. I suggest not trying to pronounce it unless you hear someone else (preferably Italian) say it first. Made famous by the biannual Palio horse race (and brought onto our radar by the Sienna’s pizza and pasta restaurant back home), Siena was a real delight.
