... about how to overcome challenges. When I first arrived in India, I was very anxious anytime my automated-rickshaw driver became lost or whenever I didn't understand what someone was saying to me, but I learned how to trust myself in difficult situations like these. At times, I felt lonely and isolated due to cultural differences, but these experiences helped me learn how to become comfortable with being entirely independent, as I often was ...
... it is easy for laundry. I kept it nice and close to my bed. I didn't want to wake Jacci up but it was good to have it there just in case.
I was still in my dress in leggings which didn't surprise me much. This is not a rare occurrence. I also woke up to some decorations on my room! There were green and yellow balloons all over the floor and the door had signs and ribbons hanging all around. What good friends I have.

... I felt when I practiced this way of life for a few months in the spring semester. I had great energy – healthy energy- with no crash mid-day. Additionally, when I return home I will most likely be living on my own and doing my own shopping so I will be making my own food choices rather than what my family is making for the meals.
Thank you for all who were concerned with me during this day – It feels great to have such a wonderful support system.
