We (well, Mister Kitty and Suella from 2-Blue) managed to persuade the marina to make the price slightly less eye-watering and we settled down for a day in the sun - we seem to be having a mini-heatwave at the moment.

We left Santander and arrived in Madrid. The train speed was displayed in the carriages during the trip and we had been travelling at an average speed of 250km/h. The views were great....lush green country dense forested hills.... Then as we came out the end of a mountain tunnel closer to Central Spain, the grass was no longer green, the trees were sparse and the clouds darker.
