As Livingston is only accessible by water we would be leaving via the same boat mode of transport as we arrived by, the difference with leaving was that we were fetched from our hotel dock so did not have far to walk :-)

We started our journey with a water taxi to the mainland where we met a taxi that offered to take us to the bus stop where we could catch the bus to Punta Gorda.

The ¨bus stop¨ was a dirt patch outside an empty dilapidated restaurant. It sure did look like the beginning of a horror movie at this stage. It was definately our first uncomfortable moment in Belize. Luckily we only had to wait 10 minutes before what resembled a 1960´s school ...

... but I ended up having to settle for hot chocolate mixed half with water and half with milk.

We left in the morning from Rio Dulce and headed to Livingston by boat (GTQ125).The boat gave a tour as it took us to Livingston. It was a good way of combining the travel part of the trip and still being able to see some of the places along the way.

He stated the lesions started as a small vesicle and when they popped a clear fluid came out. These vesicles continue across the lower portion of the lip until it is now almost covered.
