    The start of our trip.

Departure from Huntsville toward Chicago. Got an all day lay over in Chicago because there is only one flght to Chicago from Huntsville.
All went well other than the American Airlines agent had to physically complete the baggage connection between Paris and Malta. This meant that he had to hand write the ultimate destination. I don' think he has ever heard of Malta.
    Onward and ...

... the rubbish from the person before us and the safety card. He made a mad grab for our back pack that was in the overhead locker but by this time Indy and I were both covered. Adrian managed to get a ziplock bag and by that stage Indy's nose had started to bleed. She had never had a nose bleed before and if anything was going to freak me out at that stage a nose bleed sure did it! ... bored so decided to do his own kind of unprotected spacewalk. Speaking of unprotected, Jordan was looking at a big map of the US & mispronounced Virginia... After an early dinner we found our rocket launch was cancelled due to a storm coming in so we partied on aka history lesson about Gemini & Apollo missions & then Commercial Space travel. Massive day, we're tired - not sure how the kids are keeping it together. Anyway a sneaky drink before bed & onto graduation ...

... been before dinner?! Then did our first mission with the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Thought I was going to be leaving Space camp on my own as we were starting re-entry while Jase & Jordan were still hanging outside on a space walk. NASA will not be hiring any of us any time soon. The big kids & little kids looked exhausted so it was showers & bedtime by 9:30pm - us astronauts are mega party ...
