... Coffee in USA is nothing like we have become used to in Australia. USA can cook a steak that will taste like something that you thought you could only ever dream of tasting, but good coffee is not a strength. I had completely forgotten this point, but that first coffee at LAX reminded me very quickly!

Sitting in the airport, DD1 and DD2, although tired, were really starting to get excited about our holiday. They could not believe that we ...

Stop 2 was a break at Leo Carrillo beach. Fairly small beach but famous for featuring in the opening scene of Grease! The beach wasn't anything special, but it was worth seeing.

Carried on down highway 1. This road has taken us all the way from San Fransisco! Stopped at Malibu. Some massive houses in the hills, had lunch in the Country Mart and hoped to bump into someone famous. We didn't!

I was set to meet up with the Croysdill Family who graciously gave me a ride to our meeting point in Whittier where our two vans were waiting to take us to LAX. I loaded onto the Party Bus with 8 of the students, and our ...

As Burden's collection grew, the ground around his Topanga Canyon studio became littered with parts, which the artist referred to as "lamp carcasses". Most of the street lamps came from the streets of Southern California, including Hollywood, Glendale, and Anaheim, with some from Portland, Oregon. Among the 17 styles represented are the Outpost, ...

... it best...Chick-Fil-A. I was so impressed with everything about the place. The cleanliness, the architecture, the service all superb. (SIDE NOTE: The girl taking my order said I have really nice eyes...anywhere else I would have been kinda creeped out, BUT NOT AT CHICK-FIL-A!!!!) After the pleasant meal we went back to PCC, did homework, and chilled for the night.

This morning I got up, worked out, and read some more for ...
